Seek the Mission not the Position

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.~ Matthew 6:33

This is an amazing time to receive this Empowered Word. Yesterday was the beginning of the Rosh Hashanah which is the Jewish New Year. The Jewish New Year carries the theme of life and death. Life to a new beginning and death to the old.

If you are reading this post it is an indicator that you are a world changer. And like many world changers, you will come to the point of “The Between Stage” you are not where you used to be, but you are not where you are going.

Being in “The Between Stage” is the most challenging time because it’s a time that creates a war within. You may be frustrated, unsure of your purpose, and even be overwhelmed with fear & doubt. But even with all your waving emotions and thoughts you still have a drive within you so strong that’s un quenched by the normalcy of church programs or the accolades of secret haters trying to pump you up. Why? Because God has given you a glimpse of where you’re going. God has called you forth to be different, to have a voice and to make a difference in this world.

We all have been given a mission that has been assigned to us, and a position we will obtain to promote that mission. However on our journey to our destiny we must watch out for pitfalls and booby traps. Pitfalls and booby traps cause us to forget our mission and only seek a position. When you seek a position the heavens will be locked up, no matter who you know or what you have, you will never get to where you belong. However when you seek after fulfilling your mission, God will put you in the right position for the floodgates of Heaven to be released to you in order to accomplish your purpose.

Queen Esther new the benefit of seeking the kingdom of Heaven in order to fulfill her life mission. She just like many other beautiful handmaidens were handpicked in order for the King to select a new Queen. They all had to go thru purification and preparation for selection. While the majority of the handmaidens used things from the earth to gain the position. Esther sought things of heaven like wisdom. She may not have known the full details of her call to destiny at her selection time, but she followed the unction’s in her spirit to look up and not down. Read Esther Chapter 2.

What is your mission? To feed the hungry, to save the lost souls, to open orphanages, or like Queen Esther, to be a deliverer and provide a way for others to find their purpose, whatever it may be, do it! Start were you’re at and trust God to provide the resources and the connections. Let this be the day of new beginnings don’t look back at your mistakes and regrets of yesterday, seek after your mission and let God give you the position, for the world is waiting for you beloved.
