The Journey of Preparation to Singleness, Marriage & Intimacy With God

Today I spoke with “The Apostle”! If you are not familiar with “The Apostle” and why I’m bringing her up. Go read the first blog post of the journey. You will learn all about how this blog all began.

“The Apostle” who is actually my dearest friend from high school, Larinda King, is an Apostle who resides in Savannah Georgia, with her husband. They co-pastor the thriving and radical Jesus lovers church called, End Time Commission Disciple Center.

Today was the first time we talked since my faithful meltdown day. She told me in our conversation that she has been following the blog and is excited that I decided to follow the instructions of her advice that was inspired by God for me to share the journey of my singleness, marriage and intimacy with God.

We discussed the process and all the changes I have noticed in my life thus far. I also disclosed to her how I was uncomfortable being so transparent in this blog.

“The Apostle” then began to mentor me on the reality of what is truly transpiring with my discomfort. She said you are transforming into the woman for your husband. You are becoming her. Just like he is becoming the man God wants him to be for you and the purpose of the Kingdom.

Yes! I am going through a transformation, and transformations can hurt, be uncomfortable and uncertain. But one thing I know about God inspired transformations….the outcome will be all worth it.

Today’s Lesson: The journey to singleness, marriage and intimacy with God will take you into the process of transformation. Taking you from one form to another. If you surrender to the process of transformation the outcome will be a beautiful masterpiece, like the beautiful colors displayed on a butterfly's wings from the transformation from a caterpillar. However if you resist the transformation process you can get stuck in a stage and be deformed.

Say what! Deformed!

When we don't allow God to take us through the transformation process we can have the results of being deformed in our spirit, mind and body. But when we do we will adhere to the scripture that says, God makes all things beautiful in his time (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

Gods timing in your transformation process is perfect timing. God instructed me to do this blog daily for 365 days. I don't know whats on the other side of this process, but I’m excited to find out.

So until tomorrow say yes to God's transformation process in your life. It’s going to be all worth it!

With Beautiful Love
