The Journey of Preparation to Singleness, Marriage & Intimacy With God
Day 42: THE ENEMY HATES YOU...SO WHAT!
On our journey to singleness, marriage and intimacy with God we must never forget that we have an enemy that doesn't want us to succeed in these relationships and in overall life for that matter.
The quicker we realize that that enemy is not flesh and blood, but a spiritual foe. The quicker we can be successful in aborting his plans for our lives. Because what he depends on is us fighting with ourselves, with our mates, and with God so that we never obtain the very thing we are seeking for.
So in order to combat this strategy the enemy uses we must embrace the teachings of Paul that he shared with the Philippians church. He instructed them to press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3: 14).
Today’s Lesson: The enemy hates you, but so what! He can only stop you when you allow him to distract you. Be aware that you have an enemy, but don't chase him, instead earnestly press into the direction of God with the assurance that you will make it and receive the prize, which is all that he has for you to fulfill the work He has given you with the help of Christ Jesus.
This blog is great for me because, when the enemy wages a war campaign against me, my children or family, I go all in to warfare mode. Which is great, however sometimes I can stay in that mode. What God revealed to me was that I can't chase Him and the enemy at the same time.
Know your enemy and what he is attempting to do, but press into God even more. He instructed me to do warfare prayer offensively not defensively. For defense against the enemy run into God like never before.
Ways to run to God;

This list can be extensive, however these are great starting points to press into God for the high calling.
Until tomorrow, run toward your God and in doing so you’re running toward your higher calling. Let your enemy worry about you, don’t you worry about your enemy.
