The Journey of Preparation to Singleness, Marriage & Intimacy With God

One of my favorite movies to watch during Christmas time is, “It's A Wonderful Life”. I know we haven't reached Thanksgiving yet, but today I just had to watch it.

And even though I know the movie from start to finish, I still cry at the end.

If you haven't seen the movie the plot is based on a the main character George Bailey who wishes he had never been born. Because of this an angel is sent to earth to make George's wish come true. George starts to realize how many lives he has changed and impacted, and how they would be different if he was never there.

Today’s Lesson: You may not see your impact in the world, but know you have one.

Along with my desire to be successful and fulfilled working toward my singleness, marriage and intimacy with God, I also have the desire to make a difference in the world.

Have you ever been a place where you want to be successful in your plans, in your relationship with yourself, your partner, and with God, and even successful in making a difference in the world. However you feel so far away from what you want to accomplish, no matter what you do. In fact it appears you are going in the opposite directions.

I know I have. In fact I was feeling this way today, which is the reason God revealed to me today, that when we start having a pity party related to not being were we pictured ourselves being at this time in our lives, we are not seeing the bigger picture.

The bigger picture is that our mere existence has had a valuable effect in the world and the relationships we have. Without us this world would not be the same.

So until tomorrow, hold your head up and know “It’s A Wonderful Life”, because your in it!

With Beautiful Love
