The Journey of Preparation to Singleness, Marriage & Intimacy With God





In any given day, there is so much vying for your attention. Sometimes this attention seeking behavior of your life and the people in it can cause distraction.


I had a great conversation today at a brunch, were the topic of discussion evolved to my expertise, health. The group of men and ladies confirmed with my advice declaration that stress is the culprit to most sickness, disease and mental ill-health.


As each brunch participant began to disclose what was stressing them, all I could think about was how rehearsed their stories were.


Today’s Lesson: Lessen the stress in your life, by silencing the noise in your mind.


During this amazing journey of singleness, marriage and intimacy with God we will not be exempt from the stress of life. But what we can control is the noise this stress creates in our head.


Instead of reciting, rehearsing, and replaying the stories in your head, and to your selected audience, silence the noise in your mind that is building up your stress levels by changing the channel.


Changing the channel includes redirecting your thoughts to thoughts that bring life. Going to your happy place by taking a mental vacation. Listening to your favorite tunes and dancing to them. Or just plainly meditating and just thinking about your breath. 


Until tomorrow, whatever you do to silence the stressful noise in your head, because your health depends on it.
