Day 75: RUN TO THE LIGHT
When I counsel my patients who suffer from depressive symptoms, my foundation treatment is to tell them to surround themselves with the light.
On this journey of singleness, marriage and intimacy with God you will struggle with days that you don't feel like getting out of bed, or entertaining others. Days you just want to stay in bed with the covers over your head, with tears streaming down, or reminiscing on the bad things going on in your life.
Today’s Lesson: Don't stay in that dark place with your emotions. Run to the light.
The light can consist of anything that shifts you from a bad mood to a good mood. You have the power to change your mood by being intentional.

Eating a slice of sweet potato pie
This list can be endless. It’s up to you. Instead of dwelling on the bad, surround yourself with the good, your good, your light.
