The Journey of Preparation to Singleness, Marriage & Intimacy With God

I have waited all day to write this post. My hope was that I could receive a free pass to skip this one, stay at home wallowing in my own stuff and arise with a perky happy post tomorrow.

Well as you can see God had other plans. This is a journey right?

Today’s Lesson: Your never alone, even when you feel alone. This feeling is a place of transition to your next. Hold on it’s only a matter of time.

Today is Christmas day, and it was the first Christmas I felt alone. I wasn't alone, I was actually in the mist of various family members, yet I felt what I can only describe as a separation and hollowness that caused me to feel extremely alone.

This feeling was so overwhelming at times I felt like running away and crying, and in fact by the end of the day during my Esther bath, I did just that. I cried.

As I cried and prayed God revealed to me that I was in the right place, the place of transition. He then instructed me to hold on, it was only a matter of time for my next to unfold.

So why am I sharing this with you? One because God told me to. Second because on the journey of preparation to singleness, marriage and intimacy with God we are going to have moments like this. Moments when we feel disconnected and alone, whether we are by ourselves in our bedrooms, or in a crowded room.

God wanted me to tell you not to be in despair, you are being transitioned into your next. Don't give in to depression, anxiety or even reverting back to what God is transitioning you out of.

For me my transition started on Christmas Day, for you it may be on your birthday, at a celebration, a conference or during a random day you are taking a stroll in the park. Whenever your transitional day occurs hold on my loves it soon will pass.

Until tomorrow embrace your time alone, your blessings are on the other side.

With Beautiful Love
