Day 84: WHO HOLDS YOU ACCOUNTABLE?
The Journey of Preparation to Singleness, Marriage & Intimacy With God
Day 84: WHO HOLDS YOU ACCOUNTABLE
Ending a year is a time where many reflect on that years accomplishments, failures, disappointments, wins, breakthrough blessings and setbacks. It is not a time to throw in the towel and quit.
Today’s Lesson: Your in the ending stretch. Opposition, resistance, distractions and even your feelings will try to get the best of you, in order to stop you. Don't let nothing stop you from submitting to the top.
On this journey of preparation of singleness, marriage and intimacy with God there will be days, weeks and even months within the year that we just don't feel like being great. The pressures of fulfilling our goals in the midst of life happening can cause us to sometimes get weary in all this well doing, especially if you don’t see any results.
So start the year strong by choosing someone to be your accountability partner. Someone who will be your cheerleader and your coach. A person who will give you encouragement when you accomplish a goal and a push when you want to give it all up and surrender defeat.
A person who will be honest with regarding touch personal matters and your blind spots regarding you, your relationships, your work ethics and even your walk with God.
I had my first meeting today with my accountability partner and I must say my goals for 2020 will stretch me beyond my comfort zone, yet if accomplished will open me up into a life out of this world. I also pushed out of my comfort zone by sharing some of my own personal proclivities and challenges I personally aspire to break free from. With my chosen accountability partner I'm sure to accomplish great things.
Until tomorrow, choose wisely, but make it a point to choose. We all need to be held accountable with the things God has given us to be, do and have.
With Beautiful Love
