Day 108: TO EACH HIS OWN
The Journey of Preparation to Singleness, Marriage & Intimacy With God
Day 108: TO EACH HIS OWN
There is this new song by Jah9, Ma’at, (Each Man), that I was listening to today which voiced my hearts cry. Some lyrics:
These days it seems that everyone is on some twisted mission
To make a great impression
To boost their likes and ratings
Faking friendship just to get ahead
As jaded as the walking dead
Becoming the norm as corruption spread
People are about their own business. Seeking personal advancements, business partnerships, relationships that will open doors for them all with the hope of personal gain. This alone is not wrong, however when they are only thinking about themselves and hurting others as they do theses things, it is wrong.
Gossiping, hateful social post, negative sideline commentators, prophets having prophetic battles against each other on their Facebook Live. Preachers talking about each other in the backrooms, them smiling and speaking blessings over the one they were speaking foul about when on the pulpit. This is a sickness in our world.
This has always been hard for me to understand and still is. That most people only think about themselves advancing and at the same time want to see others to be left behind.
My DNA has always been one to bring people along with me. To help others to give them access to what can advance them. If I have a platform I will promote you. If I’m on the stage I want you on the stage. If I’m invited to the party I want you to come too. If I look good I want you to look good. I love bragging about others, and cheering them on as they rise higher.
My pure heart didn't know that this was not the normal. The higher I go the more I see that people don't want you to look good, they only want to look good, even if they say they want you to look good they are doing things on the under to shine light on your flaws or to sabotage you by creating the flaws.
This hit me hard. So when I brought this hurt to God He instructed me by saying.
Today’s Lesson: To each his own!
He informed me to continue to do what I do by lifting others up and promoting them to be seen in the full expression of their Beautiful Greatness, even if they don't do the same for me. Because the "Golden Rule" and the "Law of Return" never changes….
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"
Luke 6:31, Matthew 7:12
"Give and it shall be given unto you"
Just because others are being careless regarding the Golden Rule and Law of Return, doesn't mean I have to be. So on this journey of preparation into singleness, marriage and intimacy with God choose wisely how you treat others, because it will be return back to you in some kind of way.
Until tomorrow “To each his own”...do what you do and change only for the outcome you really want to return to you! I want love so that's what I'm going to continue to give. I Love You! Period!
With Beautiful Love
