The Journey of Preparation to Singleness, Marriage & Intimacy With God

If only everyday was like a brilliant romantic comedy, full of love, laughter and chocolate.

Valentine's Day is typically a happy occasion for many. Spending an entire day to outwardly show that special someone that they love and appreciate them. But for some, Valentine's Day is a day that causes great grief, unhappiness, stress, anxiety and depression.

Here are 12 reasons why not all are completely happy during Valentine's Day:

Being reminded that you're not in a relationship

Being reminded that you are in a relationship

Being reminded that your significant other is not around

Being reminded that your kids may be in relationships

Being reminded of past relationships

Stressing your relationship

Taking your relationship to another level

Failing to meet expectations

Being reminded that you have no money or are spending money

Finding a babysitter who is free on Valentine's Day but is old enough to be a babysitter

Trying to secure a reservation in any restaurant that doesn't serve Happy Meals

Buying a gift that is not just a thought

Here’s 1 reason why you should be happy:

God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son (John 3:16)

Today’s Lesson: You are God’s forever Valentine, all day everyday. He gave his son to prove it. And to top it off Jesus said yes, and laid down his life for you.

How many people you know who would die for you? Ummmmm!

Well Beautiful One, on your journey of preparation into singleness, marriage and intimacy with God keep a happy heart especially on Valentine’s Day with the knowing that no one on earth no matter how hard they try can ever outperform Gods Valentine Day gift to you. Which is eternal life.

So cut your husband, your wife, your boo, your suga some slack anything they do even if it's a verbal "Happy V Day" is an effort.

So whether you are in a relationship or not just know you are loved.

Until tomorrow Happy Valentines Day!

With Beautiful Love
