The Journey of Preparation into Singleness, Marriage & Intimacy With God
Day 147: I DON’T LIKE MY HAIR
So yesterday I went and tried something new with my hair, twist. And after 5 hours of sitting, and a day of playing around with it. I have come to the conclusion that I don't like it.
To start I not only was trying a new hairstyle I was trying a new provider to perform the tasks of managing my hair. I showed her a picture but got a whole other outcome. I would have argued the point of not being satisfied with my hair at the moment I was forking over $180 however I had to prepare for my flight to Atlanta.
Today’s Lesson: Sometimes you will be disappointed with your expected and hoped for outcome. Don't get upset, just make the needed changes for next time.
So as I’m sitting here at the airport waiting to board my plane, my twists are up in a ball in the top of my head. I have brought a hat, some cute outfits and confidence that will make any hairstyle the new fashion.
When you are on the journey of preparation into singleness, marriage and intimacy with God, things will not always go the way you expected it to go. But like Thomas Edison, the inventor of the incandescent electric light, look at each surface appearing failure as a seque to what you really want to manifest.
For me, I now know that I want my twist longer and bigger.
Until tomorrow #learnfromyourfailures
