The Journey of Preparation into Singleness, Marriage & Intimacy With God
Day 155: WELL GO AND RESCUE ME THEN
Today I ran into my friend who is a former Navy Rescue Aviation Swimmer/ current firefighter/aspirin author. After our initial excitement of running into each other we began to catch up on our current writing projects.
When I shared with him my new writing endeavors and how I was nervous and slightly scared. He shared with me to not allow fear to keep me in a box, but to pull from my past wins and accomplishments to ignite the fire to motivate me to do what I already have the potential to do.
Today’s Lesson: Let your friends rescue you when you feel so deep you can’t see your way out.
Boy am I glad I opened up to my friend regarding my fears, because if I kept the voices of doubt in my head it was inevitable for me to self sabotage the process of the new due to fear.
As you journey to preparation into singleness, marriage and intimacy with God, don't do it alone. Share your concerns, fears, and thoughts with others so they can identify your blind spots and speak light into them.
Until tomorrow be open to be rescued #navyaviationrescueswimmerfriend
