Day 180: I FEEL LIKE I'VE KNOWN YOU FOREVER

April 7, 2020

The Journey of Preparation into Singleness, Marriage & Intimacy With God

Day 180: I FEEL LIKE I'VE KNOWN YOU FOREVER

Continuing the discussion on the 12 signs “HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU'VE FOUND THE ONE?” (Day 171)

Sign #9

Scenario 1: You meet someone that you have hopes could be your forever kind of love for a date. During the date all you can think about is “when will this be over”. You feel out of place and awkward because you both have nothing to talk about.

Scenario 2: You meet someone that you have hopes could be your forever kind of love for a date. During the date all you can think about is “Wow it’s like I’ve known them forever”. You feel comfortable and excited because you both have so much to talk about.

Today’s Lesson: You feel like you've known them forever.

Have you ever met someone for the first time yet you felt like it's been years? That could mean something.

A Health and Wellness Expert, Caleb Backe stated "When meeting or dating someone new, it's normal to feel uncomfortable, uncertain and unfamiliar. However, if someone new feels like they're just 'right' to you, and there's no discomfort or uncertainty at all, you may have found the one. This is a sign of soulmates making a true connection."

During your journey of singleness, marriage and intimacy with God a great indicator of the one is a familiarity and comfortableness you will have with the person.

If you're shy, you may still be shy, however the level of shyness will decrease. If you are naturally an introvert, you will not become the life of the party instantly, however in this person's company you will have less reserves. If you are a talkative social guru and are able to talk to anyone at the drop of a dime. The difference you will notice is that they too are talking. Your energies have matched.

The thing to make sure of is that the gut feeling you have about a person is one that's motivated by genuine intimacy and contentedness, and not of lust or over excitement of a hopeful new relationship with a forever love potential.

So even with those feelings take your time. Because with time a person's true character will be exposed. And if they are who they say they are, and God has approved the relationship, then you'll know it's a foundation that was built to last.

So until tomorrow ask your #iveknownyouforever

With Beautiful Love
