The Journey of Preparation into Singleness, Marriage & Intimacy With God
Day 210: YOU HAVE BEEN PARDONED SO LIVE
Continuing the discussion on the “BFF Qualifiers” from the I HAVE THE BEST BFF (BEST FRIEND FOREVER) IN THE WORLD (Day 201)
Today’s Lesson: Are You Non Judgmental Toward You
Our minds can be judging machines. Playing and replaying our life experiences. Critiquing and even filtering our actions, reactions, and day to day affairs.
There are three categories from what we judge. They are either judged as “good”, “bad” or “neutral”. The things that we judge as good, we grasp for more of and cleave to. On the other hand the things we judge as bad, we tend to hide, lie about, resist or even run away from. While the things that fall into the neutral zone for the most part are things we just ignore.
So then what does it mean to be non-judgmental? To be non-judgmental, means letting go of the automatic tendency to make judgments.
On this journey of preparation into singleness, marriage and intimacy with God the role of being your own BFF is to stop judging yourself. It is refreshing to just be. Experience a moment without critiquing yourself.. I didn’t do this right, I didn't say that right. And on and on..until you make yourself sick with condemnation and regret.
News flash, they is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. He died for your sins, and has freed you from any judgment against you. All you must do is believe, repent and live.
So until tomorrow don't’ judge, #live
With Beautiful Love
