The Journey of Preparation into Singleness, Marriage & Intimacy With God

Catchy blog title right? But what does it mean and how does it relate to our journey of preparation into singleness, marriage and intimacy with God. Well a whole lot.

Let me break it down to you the way God revealed it to me.

Think about that last person you spent time with, either in person or virtually. How did you feel during that encounter and how did you feel after it ended. Next think about how you believe the other person felt in your company and how they felt after they left you. Now if you're bold give that person a call and ask them…. Does it match your perception? If not let me show you how to make every encounter be how you desire it to be.

Today’s Lesson: Be intentional regarding how people feel when they are with you and

when they leave your presence.

One key ingredient is intention. The other is to dwell.

Let me explain.

You must start each encounter with another person or a group of persons with an intention. Because my purpose is healing, I want every encounter that I have to be refreshing, liberating, light, calming, life giving, energy raising in order to promote healing within that person's spirit, mind or body.

After you decide on your intentions then you decide how you will manifest it. I could tell you to be authentic, smile, laugh, keep eye contact and the like, however the greatest component to have people feel and leave you with the feelings that you intend for them is to dwell in the presence of the Lord.

To dwell means to live in.

Keep a regular appetite to be in the presence of the Lord, during your worship, praise, prayer, devotional times and even during your times of cleaning your home, driving to the grocery store, talking with a friend or family member and even as you scroll through social media. Practice being sensitive to the presence of God at all times. God's glory is not only subjected to church services or events. He will dwell with you in any place at any time with anyone.

This is important because dwelling in the presence of God will have you illuminate your purpose in what you say, do and don't say and do. The spirit of the Lord will work through you to meet the person's needs all you need to do is to be intentional and available.

So until tomorrow, let Him #dwell in you so you can send some good old fashion sunshine kisses of love during every encounter.

With Beautiful Love
